About Us

“So why plant a new church in Northeast Columbia anyways?” The answer is simple: Because we think God wants us to do it.

We know that in NE Columbia, there are a lot of people (a little over 26,000), and most (about 20,000) don't have an active relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ. We know as written in 1 Timothy 2:4, God's will is that we all know Him, be saved by His Son, and come to a knowledge of the truth. Historically one of the most consistent and best ways to reach the unchurched has been the planting of new churches.

Thus, we are planting LifeBridge as an answer to God's general call to expand His Kingdom here on Earth with new congregations spreading His Word, and specifically to serve our friends and neighbors right here in NE Columbia who, like us, maybe haven't felt comfortable in a church before or don't have a church home, yet are still very curious about who Jesus is and what faith means in our lives.

We thank Him for this opportunity and continually see confirmation of His will for LifeBridge through a number of blessings in the form of people, provisions, and other providences.

We spent time planning what LifeBridge would look like and stand for, while having in home Bible studies, before officially opening our doors on February 10, 2013.  We've grown from 11 people to over 60 who regularly attend worship services - and pray we will keep on growing!
